Amazon Web Services (AWS)
What is Amazon Web Services (AWS)?
Amazon Web Services is a cloud computing platform owned by the shopping giant, Amazon. AWS offers hundreds of cloud computing services that can be used by developers to build apps, websites, services and solutions. You probably use AWS’ massive platform daily without even knowing it. They have customers such as Netflix and Nasa as well as government clients in the UK and US.
We use AWS to host websites in the cloud as well as transcode video, store files and deliver content throughout the world.
AWS now helps to power many of the world’s biggest services, such as Netflix, Airbnb and Spotify.
