What is a WordPress plugin?
Remember when Apple added apps to the iPhone and completely changed how people used the iPhone?
Just like the iPhone, WordPress plugins are like little apps for WordPress. There’s over 50,000 different plugins available for WordPress and they do lots of different things.
For example, you could use WordPress plugins to:
- Create an ecommerce website with WooCommerce;
- Add a Twitter feed to your website;
- Add contact forms to your website;
- Link up Facebook with your website;
- And lots more.
WordPress plugins are what makes WordPress so powerful because you will be able keep adding new features to your website very easily, even after we’ve built your new website.
