Overview
Rucklidge Law is a solicitors’ firm that helps people through some of the hardest moments in their lives — including legal issues involving children and family. Their old website was perfectly fine. Professional. Clean. The kind of site you’d scroll past without a second thought.
And that was exactly the problem. In 2026, “fine” loses you customers. We rebuilt their site from the ground up — brand, design and build — so it works as their best salesperson, 24/7. Conversion rates are now up by as much as 35%.
The challenge
The old site looked the part, but it wasn’t doing a job. A website in 2026 isn’t a digital brochure — it’s a salesperson working every hour of every day. If it isn’t built that way, it’s losing you customers every hour of every day instead.
- Stock photos that only said “we exist.” Generic imagery that could’ve belonged to any business.
- Words that confused. Business-speak and legal jargon, when visitors just wanted to know “what’s in it for me?”
- No clear next step. Hardly a call to action in sight, so visitors hit the back button and clicked the next firm instead.
- Design that didn’t convert. A generic template with no visual hierarchy.

What we did
We didn’t make it prettier. We made it work — fixing the five things that quietly cost Rucklidge Law business.
- Images that prove, not decorate. Out went the stock photos. In came the real Rucklidge Law team and genuine results — built to earn trust in the first three seconds.
- Words that clarify. Every headline now answers one question: what’s in it for me?
- Calls to action that guide. One clear, hard-working CTA runs through the whole site: “Book your free 30-minute consultation now.”
- Design built to convert. A clear visual hierarchy points straight to booking a call, and we cut the navigation down to the two things clients actually want: services and fees.
- Speed that keeps people around. The new site loads in around two seconds — on every click, and faster on a phone than most sites are on desktop.
We also did something unusual for a solicitor’s website: we published the fees. Every service page now follows a deliberate path — what the service is, the clear process, the likely cost, real testimonials for proof, and a simple contact form.
